Kane's MegaKirby

Okay okay okay... I know I said I wouldn't submit anything new to DevArt, but ~kanefinger1939 is a Dev only guy and it's HIS drawing so I decided to submit it here too. Consider yourselves lucky.

Since Kane still (to my knowledge) has the blanket "Anyone can color any of my lineart" statement going, I suddenly felt like coloring his art. The overdone yet adorably cute "MegaKirby" caught my eye, so I traced the sketch in PS CS, then moved it to oC 1.1 for colors and shading. That lense flare? Yeah, done totally by hand with the straight edge and watercolor tool. The watercolor tool is as sexy as the pen tool. I kid you not, they're the two exiest tools in existence and if they could be used together the sheer awesomeness would make the universe implode. Anyways... in't he just the cutest little hero eater?
